What is the most important thing we can give to our children?

Wednesday, Aug. 24 is National Waffle Day! It also happens to be the day I would have celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary.

I don’t have children, and I sure don’t envy today’s parents.

The average American household has $98,315 in debt. If you remove all of the people who are debt-free, the average household with debt has $132,086 in debt (Nerd Wallet).
I have heard people often make the following remarks:
• “Why do I feel joyful so seldom?”
• “Something always nags at feeling joyful. I wonder ‘what next?’ or ‘maybe it won’t last.’”
As I look back over the summer (a statement I should not have to make until September, but school starts ridiculously early this year), I am struck by how far I have come in the past 12 months.
The average human heart beats about 80 times a minute which will move about six liters of blood every minute. That is a lot of blood!
The answer to the question in this title is obviously no. Just look at election year polls that separate like the waters of the Nile River from Moses’ staff.
