Liem makes dean’s list at RIT

Donovan Liem of Prospect was named to the dean’s list at Rochester (New York) Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Liem is in the civil engineering technology program.

Full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean’s list if their term grade-point average is greater than or equal to 3.4, if they do not have any grades of incomplete, D or F, and if they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Berman named to dean’s list at Tufts

Sam Berman, a member of the class of 2025, of Prospect, was named to the dean’s list at Tufts (Massachusetts) University for the fall 2023 semester.

Dean’s list honors at Tufts require a semester grade-point average of 3.4 or greater.

Tufts University — located on campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Massachusetts, and in Talloires, France — is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.

Mannarelli named to Bradley dean’s list

Caralena Mannarelli of Prospect is among nearly 1,850 students named to Bradley (Illinois) University dean’s list for the fall semester of 2023.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Bradley University is a private university in Peoria, Illinois, offering nearly 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students opportunities, choices, and resources to build their futures.

Hays graduates from Ole Miss

Harry Hays of Crestwood is among the more than 670 students who graduated from the University of Mississippi — also known as Ole Miss — in December.

Hays, who majored in nutrition and hospitality management., received a doctor of philosophy degree in graduate school.

“Congratulations to our December 2023 graduates who are distinguished by their dedication to academic success,” University of Mississippi Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. “They accomplished so much during their years at the university. I applaud them and can’t wait to see all the ways they will continue building their legacies that began here.”

Smith graduates from Coastal Carolina

Jordyn Smith of Goshen was among the more than 500 students who graduated from Coastal Carolina (South Carolina) University at the university’s fall commencement ceremonies, which were held on Dec. 15 in the HTC Center.

Coastal Carolina University is located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
