In an endeavor to serve their local community, students on the North Oldham Middle School Executive Council sponsored their third annual food drive.
Each year, Mustang house families participate in friendly competition to see which family donates the largest number of cans.
“As the sponsor of the executive council in my inaugural year, I have been genuinely moved by the dedication, zeal and positive leadership exhibited by these exceptional students,” said executive council sponsor Molly Sensenbrenner. “I foresee this group making an even greater impact within our school and community in the years ahead.”
This year’s winner was Mr. Lega’s family, and the Bread of Life Food Truck received more than 1,400 food donations.
