Crowds of children came to the La Grange branch of the Oldham County Public Library to meet some furry and not so furry friends as the library welcomed Amazon John from Silly Safaris. Silly Safaris, an Indiana-based group that specializes in live animal education programs, presented two shows in the library’s main branch on June 15.
In a La Grange City Council meeting that lasted four and a half hours, city council members expressed dissatisfaction with city administration. The mayor also had to vote two times to break a 4-4 tie on two agenda items: the 2016-17 fiscal year budget and a new stormwater ordinance adoption.
