  • Robbery leads to police chase up, down I-71

    Two men facing robbery charges led police on a chase through Crestwood and in both directions of Interstate 71 Saturday afternoon as two children sat in the backseat.

    A burglary took place about 3:40 p.m. Saturday at Cox's Smokers Outlet on Central Avenue off Ky. 146. According to surveillance footage, one man entered the business wearing a red toboggan, red gloves and pointing a handgun at two clerks.

    Minutes later, officers spotted a Ford Taurus on Old Ky. 329 matching the description provided by employees at the store.

    Two Crestwood men and a Pleasureville man face drug charges after police tracked a FedEx package of marijuana sent from California and scheduled to arrive at a Pleasureville home.

    Oldham County Parks & Rec's annual father-daughter dance has been so popular in years past that the event will be two nights this year.

  • La Grange business robbed at gunpoint

    A man wearing a white hooded sweatshirt who brandished a silver handgun is wanted by police in connection with a robbery Wednesday afternoon.

    La Grange Police are investigating the report of a robbery about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of South First Street at Cash Express.

    Employees told police the man wore a black ski mask and white hooded sweatshirt.
