Less than 24 hours after its first loss of the season, Oldham County bounced back with a 56-49 win against Presentation on Saturday afternoon in the Ronald McDonald House Classic. Alexis Head scored 18 points while Madison Clark and Sophia Head added 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
For the second consecutive year, South Oldham boys basketball is 4-0 after a 97-54 win over Grant County on Friday night. Joe Griffin scored 19 of his game-high 22 points in the first half and Aaron Franklin made seven 3-pointers as the Dragons cruised to victory.
South Oldham’s feverish comeback in the final minute fell short as the Lady Dragons lost to host Floyd Central 58-54 on Thursday night. Three Lady Dragons scored in double figures, Sydney Herold (14 points), Maggie Smith (11 points) and Lexi Bowlden (10 points).
Ethan, age 15, Zachary, age 5 and Malcolm, age 3, announce the birth of their brother, Miles Havyln Satterly. Miles was born Nov. 20 at 1:33 p.m. at Baptist Health La Grange. He weighed 7 lbs. and 13.5 ounces and measured 19.5 inches long.
