Spectrum, the literary magazine published by Oldham County High School, placed first in the state and is ranked among the nation’s best by the National Council of Teachers of English.
This award is for the edition published in 2013, which was then considered with other state winners for a national award. OCHS did not win the top national honor this year, but did for their 2011 magazine.
The award-winning publication returned most of its editors for the 2013-14 school year, including seniors Sarah Stovall, Anna Gorsick, Heidi Arbuckle and Hannah Deaton.
