Members of the Oldham County Sewer District board have identified several items to be declared as surplus and sold.
OCSD Board Treasurer Amy Alvey said the surplus items include a copier, television, three lab tables with sinks and Sony and Toshiba laptop computers. All items she said she believes are purchased made 2004 or earlier.
In a game of who could score last, the North Oldham Mustangs couldn’t muster a final touchdown, ending their best ever season Friday in the second round of the state class 3A playoffs. The Mustangs finished the season 10-2.
Myrtle Cunningham surprised everyone and lead singing of “Love Lifted Me,” during the October hymn sing at New Hope Baptist Church. The congregation helped her celebrate her birthday with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” and a card.
Brenda Rockwell lead the congregation with “The Old Rugged Cross,” accompanied by David and his wife, Pam.
