Oldham County History Center
Under the leadership of Warner L. Jones, Jr and Harriet Jones, Hermitage Farm became one of the most notable thoroughbred farms in the nation.
Located in Goshen, in the heart of Oldham County’s horse scene, the historic farm had a long history even before Jones took over in 1935. He borrowed $50,000 from his mother to purchase the farm.
