  • Three promoted at Oldham County Police

    Three Oldham County Police officers were promoted during an Oldham County Fiscal Court meeting June 7. 

    Lt. Tim Wakefield was promoted to major of operations. Wakefield is also a board member for Challengers of Oldham County, which provides substance abuse prevention services in the community.

  • Fire at The Game Room under investigation

    Investigators have yet to determine the cause of a fire this morning at The Game Room in Crestwood Station.

    Crews were called to the shopping center about 8:45 a.m. as smoke poured from an exterior wall at the front entrance.

  • Arts on the Green planned June 4, 5

    Over 100 booths of juried artists and craftsmen will be displaying their works on the shaded Oldham County Courthouse lawn June 4-5.
    Free to the public, hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days.
    This well attended show is in its 11th year and is the primary fundraiser for the Arts Association of Oldham County.
