The Oldham County Conservation District was recently recognized as the Outstanding Conservation District for the western half of Kentucky at the Kentucky Association of Conservation District’s annual conference. The district was recognized for going above and beyond in providing educational and outreach programs for Oldham County residents.
Local students were among the 544 graduates awarded diplomas at Denison University’s 174th commencement ceremony in May. Graduates from the area include:
•Emily Clark Jenkins of Goshen. Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science. Jenkins was a recipient of the Denison Founders Scholarship.
Each night of the Oldham County Fair, held July 28 through Aug. 1 at the Oldham County Fairgrounds, featured a different pageant. Here are pictures of the winners.
