    During the spring semester, 11 students from Oldham County were named to the dean’s list at Georgetown College.

    The dean’s list honors undergraduate students who completed the semester with at least 12 hours and a 3.7 grade-point average.

    Transylvania University senior Stefanie Brock, freshman Sarah Conn, senior Emily Owens, junior Kelly Spratte-Lennington and senior Allyson Tucker have been named to the dean’s list for the winter term.

    To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve at least a 3.5 grade-point average during the term.

    Jones graduates from North Oldham

    Alaina Louise Jones graduated Cum Laude from North Oldham High School, where she was a member of the Honor Society and treasurer of the Beta Club. Alaina was also on the girls’ basketball and soccer teams. She received the Chancellor’s Merit Award and a soccer scholarship to Division I Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne.
