 The South Oldham High School awards ceremony was held in the school auditorium on Tuesday, May 31.  There were 117 students recognized at the ceremony for excellence in academics, service and other achievements.

Goshen native Hailey Simpson, who attended North Oldham High School, has been awarded a Stamps Leadership Scholarship to attend LSU in the fall.

 Eighty-six students from The Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky are involved in some form of summer learning. From research internships to study abroad to robust community service projects, students are gearing up for busy weeks ahead.

 The Matthew Rawert Memorial Scholarship for 2016 was recently given to Rachel Lowery, senior at South Oldham High School, by Monica Jones, sister to Matthew Rawert. Rachel is the daughter of Stuart and Cathy Lowrey. She plans to study American studies along with criminal justice at the University of Alabama in the fall.
