    La Grange Police Arrests

    April 7 -- Mia B. Goff, 25, La Grange, was arrested for DUI an disregarding stop sign.

     

    April 7 --Maria A. Porter, 27, Crestwood, was cited and released for failure of owner to maintain required insurance 1st offense, operating on suspended/revoked license.

     

    April 8 -- Jessica N. Powers, 28, La Grange, was arrested for assault 4th (domestic) minor injury, failure to produce insurance card.

  • Berry pleads not guilty

    An Oldham County man arrested and charged with one count of sexual abuse has plead not guilty to that charge.

    Kentucky State Police arrested Michael P. Berry, 36, March 20 in Elizabethtown, after interviewing Berry about the alleged abuse.

    According to the arrest report, Berry admitted to a KSP officer that he committed sexual abuse of a female minor during a two-week period at his Oldham County home in late February.

    An interview with the victim matched what Berry told KSP, according to the police report, which resulted in his arrest.

  • Help wanted with locating Oldham probation violators

    The following individuals are wanted for probation violation in Oldham County: Anthony Yochum, Nikko Hopson, Destin Kunker and Lincoln “Nate” Grant. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Contact Rick Gray at Probation & Parole by calling 502-222-1492 x225.

  • Golden Alert Issued

    The Oldham County Police Department issued a Golden Alert Monday morning for Aaron Waldrup.

    Waldrup is a 20-year-old white male, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 240 pounds. He has blonde hair and green eyes. Waldrup could be wearing blue jeans and white shoes with blue strips and a black back pack, according to the alert.

  • Jefferies indicted for Carroll crash

    A Carroll County grand jury indicted a Goshen man Monday on charges stemming from a motor vehicle accident Feb. 26 that injured a Carroll County family.

    Donald S. Jefferies, 50, was indicted on three counts of first-degree assault, a class B felony with a penalty of 10-20 years imprisonment, a fine of $1,000-10,000 and the revocation of a driver’s license for six months on each count.

    March 31 -- Richard T. Roberts, 34, Stamping Ground, was cited and released for suspended license, no insurance and on headlight.

     

  • Goshen man sent to grand jury

     

    A Goshen man has been referred to a Carroll County Grand Jury after a district court found probable cause that he drove under the influence during an early March crash in Carroll County.

    Donald Jefferies, 50, was arrested by Kentucky State Police after admitting he took too many prescription pills before being involved in the accident on Hwy. 36.

  • Sheriff hosts another drug take back event

    In partnership with the DEA, Sheriff Steve Sparrow and the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a Drug Take Back program on Saturday, April 26, as part of the National Drug Take Back Day Initiative.
