A Goshen man who claims he shot his brother-in-law in self-defense Oct. 15 is now charged with reckless homicide and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police arrested Emmitt Pendleton, 50, Oct. 15 after a shooting at Pendleton’s home in the 5200 block of U.S. 42.
Pendleton told police he shot his brother-in-law, Richard Hild, in self-defense during an argument about a utility trailer.
Police found Hild’s body in the driveway after Pendleton called 911.
