    Joe Forgy, 74, of La Grange, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012.
    He was a Baptist, Kentucky Colonel, U.S. Army veteran and a retired captain for the Department of Corrections.
    Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Lois Carol Forgy; children, Lisa Marie (Roy) Ricketts and Timothy Joe Forgy; granddaughter, Callie Ricketts; and sisters, Vivian Johnson and Martha (Mike) Blackford.
    Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.
    Burial will take place in Valley of Rest Cemetery.

    He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Hillard; and sister, Dorothy Stewart.
    Survivors include his mother, Leta Hillard; sisters, Priscilla (Douglas) Curry, Mary Jo Larimore, and Kathy (Mark) Jones; and nieces and nephews.
    Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
    Burial will take place at Floydsburg Cemetery.
    Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

    Joseph Randazzo III, 61, of La Grange, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, at his home with his loving family at his bedside after a short battle with cancer.
    He was a painting
    contractor dedicated to his work.
    Survivors include his mother, Edna Randazzo; (loving and devoted)
    sister, Victoria Hall; nephew, Anthony Concepcion; (caring companion) Becki Ann Posey; and family and friends who were there to help us as we needed them.

    Survivors include her son, William Edward (Sherree) Sharp; brothers and sisters, Bernice Risinger, Pete Meredith, Helena Meredith, Eva Walton, Linda Bradshaw, Tommy Meredith, Ronnie Meredith, Gene Meredith and Carl Ray Meredith.
    Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Rice lived in Jefferson County before she and her husband moved to Oldham County more than
    40 years ago.
    She worked tirelessly with 4H, Republican and Farm Bureau organizations in Jefferson County.
    When she moved to Oldham County she was very active in the Republican party serving as precinct captain and poll worker.

    Elmer H. Kinney Jr., 76, of Florida, formerly of Kalamazoo, Mich.passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at his home, with family by his side.
    Kinney was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Kalamazoo, Mich.
    He was the son of the late Elmer and Johanna DeBruin Kinney Sr.
    On April 13, 1962, he married the love of his life, Nancy A. Hopkins Kinney.
    Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Hopkins Kinney.
    Services were April 6.

    William ‘Bill’ Frederick Watts, 78
    William “Bill” Frederick Watts, 78, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Baptist Hospital Northeast.
    He was born May 25, 1933 to the late Leslie and Inez Hendricks Watts.
    Watts was a 1951 graduate of Manual High School. He signed to play professional baseball where he spent five years in the minor leagues.
    He attended Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn. from 1956-1957 where he met the love of his life, Patricia Hogan, and they were married in 1958.
