Gail Kelley
Accused hatchet murderer trial set

New motions have been filed in the case of Gail Kelley, a Pewee Valley woman accused of killing her boyfriend with a hatchet.

In a pre-trial hearing last Thursday, Kelley’s defense attorneys filed two motions in front of Judge Karen Conrad. The motions were requests for expert witnesses to be present during a deposition.

Conrad granted the motions to the defense, which will give the Commonwealth 20 days to respond.
