William Mark IV “Will” Jones, 37

William Mark IV “Will” Jones, 37, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012.

Will was a beloved teacher at North Oldham High School for nine years where he was also a football coach. 

He was a graduate of Pope High School in Marietta, Ga., received his bachelor of arts degree from Hanover College and his master's degree in education from Bellarmine University. He was also a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Jill.

He is survived by his wife, Katie; son, William M. “Mack” Jones V; parents, Mark and Terrie Jones; grandmother, LaVerne Jones; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road in Middletown. Services are 4 p.m. Monday, March 19 at Northeast Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may go to the “Will Power” Student Scholarship Fund at North Oldham High School or the American Cancer Society.
