A man accused of raping a 14-year-old friend of his daughter has been denied a reduction in his bond. Ricky Ullman Jr., 32, faces charges of unlawful transactions with a minor, sex act, under 16, third-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse.
Ullman was indicted on the charges Sept. 13 and was in court on Thursday for his latest pre-trial conference. Issues over sharing of evidence in the case have delayed progress so far, attorneys said.
Ullman has denied the allegations, which happened June 23 at his apartment, while the victim in question was having a sleepover with Ullman’s daughter. His next court date is Jan. 2.
