Two awarded Byrd Honors Scholarship

Kenny Minielly of Prospect and Joel Lowery of Crestwood recently earned a four-year Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship for $1,5000 per year.

Minielly, a 2008 graduate of Louisville Trinity High School, will attend Vanderbilt University to study biological sciences.

At Trinity, Minielly was a member of the quick recall team, lacrosse team, National Honor Society, Beta Club, environmental club and Spanish club.

Minielly is the son of Ken and Sandy Minielly of Prospect.
