When it comes to filing 2008 tax returns, paper tax forms are no longer available in local libraries or post offices.
For years the Department of Revenue shipped forms, but this is a costly endeavor. Officials say this year the state is saving about $230,000 by having the taxpayers print their own forms.
All tax forms may be found, downloaded and printed very easily from the DOR Web site, revenue.ky.gov. Taxpayers without computer access may have forms mailed by calling the DOR at (502) 564-3658.
