Following is an account of action from the North Oldham Little League, the Thoroughbreds soccer program and the Javanon soccer program from the past week as received by The Oldham Era:

THOROUGHBREDS UNDER-12 Thoroughbreds 7, MUSA Flyers 0, Thoroughbreds’ goals by Madison Fedders 2, Kasey Kraus, Kelly McKenna 2, Brooklynn Potter and Grace Villier. NORTH OLDHAM ROOKIE LEAGUE GIANTS 16, DODGERS 6 - The Giants got out of the gate fast with nine runs in the first two innings to coast. Tristan Bullinger doubled and drove in three runs for the Giants. Kyle Kendall, Nate Pinhas and Eli Skaggs also doubled for the Giants. Austin Reed doubled for the Dodgers and Jacob Sanders drove in a pair of runs. WHITE SOX 18, NATIONALS 1 - Jacob Buechele tripled and Luke McGuire doubled as the White Sox rolled. Landon Gregg had a double for the Nationals. TWINS 9, ORIOLES 6 - Daniel Murray and Ethan Reed homered as the Twins scored six times in the last three innings to win. Murray and Logan Isaacs each had a triple. Nathan Arwin, Brandon Lang and Nicholas Waddle each doubled for the Twins. Austin Casey had a monster game for the O’s with a pair of home runs and a triple. WHITE SOX 7, RANGERS 4 - Led by a double from Jacob Buechele, the Sox scored three in the bottom of the sixth to win. Jack Prohaska doubled twice for the Rangers. Charlie Yonts also had a double. TIGERS 14, DODGERS 8 - The Tigers scored in every inning to keep the Dodgers at bay. Derek Webb and Kris Lennox doubled to lead the Tigers. AJ Bell, Cole Mesker and Luke O’Hara all doubled for the Dodgers. METS 12, TWINS 1 - The Mets rolled behind a triple from Landon Morgan. HEAT 14, SUNBIRDS 8 - A five-run fifth inning pushed the Heat to the win. The Heat rode a pair of homers from Marie Johnson and also homers from Tristan Whallen, McKenzie Cooper, Emily Lindell and Kallie Sheron. Whalen and Lindell also had triples. Brittney Kruzel had a triple for the Sunbirds. THUNDER 12, HEAT 11 - The Thunder got six runs in the last inning to take the win. Maddie Mason, Jillian Bailey and Jaclyn Hampton all tripled for the Thunder. Lindsey McAbe had a double. Kallie Sheron and Emily Lindell homered for the Heat. Sheron, Madison Junion and Tristan Whalen all had key doubles for the Heat. BANDITS 11, RIPTIDE 2 - Caitlyn Donohue homered to lead the Bandits. Abby Russell supported her with a triple. Gabriel Morris, Mikayla Benson and Morgan Crook all doubled. Jordan Simpson led the Riptide with a double. MINOR LEAGUE CARDINALS 11, BREWERS 7 - Grant Larimore homered and tripled to lead the Cards to the win. JT Harris and Tannder Dehler doubled for the Cards. Jacob Russell was the winning pitcher. Lucas Carrillio and Marco Valenzuela kept the Brewers close with home runs. Travis Hensen and Jackson Gibson had triples. RED SOX 17, BLUE JAYS 11 - Andrew Tedrick tripled and Tanner Miskell doubled twice to help the Sox take this slugfest. Huston King had a pair of doubles for the Jays. Austin Thomas also doubled. A’S 16, BLUE JAYS 3 - Winning pitcher Griffin Snyder tripled to lead the A’s. Jacob Bates just missed hitting for the cycle with a triple, double and single for the A’s. Max Renner and Zach Nicholas also doubled for the A’s. ANGELS 13, DIAMONDBACKS 6 - Winning pitcher Griffin McClarty homered and doubled twice to power his team. Tanner Finch also had a double for the winners. Jacob Dubroja had a pair of homers for the D-backs. Landon Gregg tripled. MAJOR LEAGUE PHILLIES 10, PIRATES 9 - The Phillies scored seventh in the fifth inning and the game-winner in the sixth to win. Stuart Jones hit a homer to straight away center to key the win. The Phillies got triples from Layman Durbin and Jarret Baker. Durbin, Jones and winning pitcher JR Beatty all doubled. Brennan Byrd and Vinny Santos tripled for the Pirates. Byrd and Sean Reish had doubles in a losing cause. REDS 6, DODGERS 4 - Winning pitcher Jaxon Lashley tripled to power the Reds. Max Mueller and Travis Clark doubled for the winners. Jacob Irwin led the Dodgers with a double. SOFTBALL MINOR LEAGUE THUNDER 5, HEAT 4 - Bryanna Richardson’s home run keyed the Thunder to the come-from-behind win. Sarah McCabe was the winning pitcher.
