A team of five Arvin Center culinary students will compete in the Junior Chef “Farm to School” state competition at the Kentucky State Fair Aug. 16.
Team members won first place with their Vegetable Patch Lasagna dish at the regional competition in May.
Culinary Arts Instructor Chef Garrett Sanborn and School Nutrition Assistant Director Leigh Anne Peterson coach the team. All three high schools are represented on the team.
