Taking to the road once again for their week seven game, South Oldham walked away with their second district win and sixth win overall as they blitzed Grant County 55-6.

TiCorian Williams got the night started in style, breaking off a 48-yard run to open scoring midway through the first quarter and added another minutes later on an 83-yard burst up the sideline.

Teammate Dallas Banks got in on the action as well, scampering to paydirt from 20-yards out early in the second quarter to push the score to 21-0.

Wiilliams wasn’t done though, adding a pick six off an errant Braves’ pass to close scoring in the first half.

After the break, they picked up right where they left off as Jack Sherry hooked up with Banks for a 12-yard score midway through the third. He added another touchdown, this time an 8-yard dart to Kyle Williams, to push the game to 42-6.

Williams finished the game as the Dragons’ leading rusher with 160 yards on seven carries.

South Oldham will return to action Friday night as they play arguably their toughest opponent of the 2012 season, Conner, in a 7:30 p.m. showdown at Dragon Stadium.

The Jaguars are 6-1 but enter the game fresh off a 21-38 loss to Conner on Sept. 28.
