South finishes 57th at state wrestling

LEXINGTON -- South Oldham came home with a 57th place finish in KHSAA state wrestling tournament, tallying 10 points for the event at Alltech Arena.

South freshman Keanan John won two matches in the 120-pound class before being eliminated in his second consolation match.

Junior Matthew Davis (285-pound class)also went 2-2, including a win over North Oldham’s Landin Jones.

Sophomore Shane Wilson (132) and junior Jean Paul Parraga (160) went winless.
