CRESTWOOD – It was another step forward for the South Oldham High School baseball team as they won the Valley Invitational over spring break.
“It was good for us as young as we are,” SOHS coach Stephen Carter said. “We needed something like this, a boost for our confidence to get us a kick start.”
The Dragons posted a 4-1 record in the tournament avenging an earlier loss to Jeffersontown 10-3 in the championship game.
“J-town has a very good team, they have beaten Oldham County and Male and beat us in extra innings twice so it was a good win for us,” Carter said.
