SOHS wins robotics competition

CX, or Robo Challenge Xtreme, is a challenging robotics competition sponsored by the State Technology Leadership Program. Students from elementary through high school competed in three separate divisions to design, build and program a robot capable of completing this year’s missions in least amount of time. At the end of the day, the first and second place teams from each division were awarded and qualified to compete at this year’s STLP State Finals, which will be held on April 22 at Rupp Arena.

High School Winners:

1st – South Oldham Robotics of South Oldham High School

2nd - Negative One Twelfth of South Oldham High School

Congratulations to our South Oldham winners. South Oldham Robotics Team’s winning score of 185 points was achieved by Wyatt Huttenlocher and Collin Hays, Team Negative One Twelfth was Brandon Trapp and Aaron Kirtland who finished with a score of 170 points.
