SOHS upsets E-town

CRESTWOOD – South Oldham coach Cy Tucker doesn’t put much stock in preseason rankings, but he does in how his team played after taking the lead in a 2-1 win over Elizabethtown Monday in the opening round of the SON Classic.E-town is ranked No. 8 in the coaches preseason poll while SOHS was ranked 13th.“The rankings are meaningless, they don’t mean a thing,” Tucker said. “They had tied Sacred Heart and played Manual right down to the wire so they had a good preseason.
