A South Oldham High School student collapsed recently during an activity.
SOHS Principal Dorenda Neihof said a 14-year-old male student collapsed at school Sept. 15. At the time of his collapse, he was participating in a voluntary activity with U.S. Marines who were visiting the school, she said.
Neihof said the on-site school nurse rendered aide immediately and the student was transported to the hospital via ambulance. The student remains hospitalized, she said.
