A swarm of hundreds of bees will hopefully be gone before this weekend’s performances at the Little Colonel Playhouse, but even if not, the show will go on. When Director Bethany Morse showed up before a rehearsal for “I Do, I Do” April 29 at the playhouse, she noticed a bee and grabbed a plastic cup to catch it. Then she noticed another and another, in all catching about 10. She then walked outside to be greeted with a living wall of hundreds of bees, swarming around the eaves.
