Sheriff’s budget to reflect $21,000 in pay increases

The Oldham County Sheriff’s Office budget for 2013 has been adjusted to reflect increases in deputies’ salaries that were inadvertently omitted.

County magistrates approved the budget amendment March 7. More than $21,000 was added to the deputies’ gross salary line item.

The change in the salary total also precipitated an uptick in the employer’s share of Social Security and hazardous duty retirement contributions.
