According to Kevin Nuss, Oldham County Emergency Management Director, there are still about 13,300 without power in Oldham County as of 11 a.m. Thursday, though some has been restored. Nuss said the number is higher than yesterday because he was given incorrect information by LG&E.
A shelter is now available at the Red Cross, but it will be moved this afternoon to the John Black Community Center. Yesterday afternoon the main breaker on Ky. 393 was restored, bringing back power to the community center
and Oldham County Dispatch.
The county is still working on getting the ice off powerlines and making sure that power is restored.
