Oldham County Sewer District board members plan to build a wall to prevent flooding at Harmony Lake in Goshen. Board members are applying for a permit from the Kentucky Division of Water to build a 90-foot wall, which will range between three and five feet tall. The wall will most likely be made of creek stone and will cost about $37,000. The wall will protect property next to a stream running out of the lake from flooding hazards in the event a dam breaks at Harmony Lake. The property is owned by Rick Masters. The board expects to hear from the Division of Water within a month.
