Story by RANDY HEITE
South Oldham’s season came to an end Friday night as they lost to Cooper 49-28.
Cooper got started quickly with a short 5-yard run by A.J Collins. South Oldham’s Kevin Kuriger had his own 5-yard touchdown with less than a minute left in the first quarter to tie it at 7.
Cooper’s Tyler Morris would connect with Collins again for a 3-yard-touchdown, but South was not going to let Cooper have the lead for long — senior quarterback Jack Sherry ran it in from 6 yards out. At the half, South Oldham was down 21-14.
