A dream came true Aug. 7. It took 14 months of hard work, organizing 900 like-minded partners and a visit from Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo, but last week Natalie Pope held the fruits of that dream.
Pope, a Girl Scout and senior at South Oldham High School, is the first recipient of Kentucky’s Autism Awareness license plate that she spearheaded a campaign to create.
Mongiardo congratulated Pope during an Oldham County Fiscal Court meeting on her hard work creating this plate.
