Schools set basketball camp dates

Boys’ campsNorth OldhamCoach Danny Edelen, who guided the Mustangs to the district title this year, will host camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 9 to 12 at the North Oldham Middle School gym since the NOHS gym is under renovation.The camp is open to players ages 5 to 14 and the cost is $85.Register at www.mustangnationhoops.com or call Edelen at 439-2287.Oldham CountyCoach Gary Forrest will offer his camp from 9 a.m. to noon June 11 to 14 at OCHS. These are the correct dates as some brochures went out earlier with incorrect dates.The camp is open to players ages 7 to 15 and the cost is $70. There is a family plan of two immediate family members at $55 each.Registration brochures can be picked up at local elementary and middle schools in the OCHS attendance district.South OldhamCoach Steve Simpson, the KABC Eighth Region Coach of the Year this season, is hosting camp July 7 to 11.From 8:30 a.m. to noon players in first through fifth grades will compete. From 12:30 to 4 p.m. players in grades 6 to 8 will compete.The cost is $60 or $70 for opening day registration. There is a family plan of $90 for two immediate family members and $120 for three immediate family members.Brochures are available at SOHS and all elementary and middle schools in the SOHS district.

Brochures are available in the SOHS office.North OldhamCoach Nancy Martin, who was inducted in the state high school hall of fame last month, will hold her camp from 9 a.m. to noon July 14-18 at North Oldham Middle School.The camp is open grades 3 to 9.There will also be a special shooting clinic July 16. The cost of the camp and clinic is $125. The cost of the camp only is $110 and the clinic only is $30.For registration call NOHS at 228-0158.
