Rotarian continues training

The next president of the Rotary Club of La Grange, Chuck Harper, joined 449 fellow Rotary leaders in Nashville to fine-tune their skills to lead their clubs next year. Harper was selected to serve as president of the club that has major community service projects in La Grange and Oldham County. The Rotary Club is the leading service club in the community and Harper will support initiatives to aid children and education.

President-elects from Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama reviewed their Role and Responsibilities as Club President, shared information on Effective Service Projects, Membership Growth and Retention and Ways to Make Rotary Fun along with many other topics.

Harper is the Branch Manager at the La Grange branch of Citizen’s Union Bank and has been a Rotarian for eight years. The Rotary Club of La Grange has served the people of La Grange and Oldham County since 1925. Major club projects include La Grange Rotary Annual Pancake Breakfast on Oldham County Day and our ongoing international fight to eradicate polio.
