Residents will be storm water fee free for four months in 2010

Members of the Oldham County Storm Water Management Board have proposed a change to the fiscal year that would give residents four months free in 2010.

Chairman Kevin Eldridge spoke to Oldham officials at Tuesday’s fiscal court meeting about the change. He said to get the district on the same fiscal year and schedule as the county, the district’s current fiscal year will need to moved from March to July.

In the past year, the district has collected $836,000 in storm water management fees from the county. More than $86,000 in fees are delinquent.
