Relay funds research, builds community

The American Cancer Society is encouraging Oldham County residents to help fight cancer, and have some fun, too, by signing up for Relay for Life.
Relay for Life is an all-night event established to raise funds “so that everyone can celebrate another birthday,” said event Chair Lisa Austin.
Austin first participated in Relay in May 2009, three months after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Today, she is cancer-free and has completed
treatment.
