Quilt is part of this weekend’s Brownsboro Days festival

A drawing for a hand-stitched quilt will be part of Brownsboro Days festivities this weekend. A former student of Brownsboro school before it joined Crestwood in 1943, Mary Noel McKinney stitched the double ring quilt.

The festival is 6 to 11 p.m. Friday and 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Brownsboro Community Center on Ky. 329, about one mile from I-71 exit 14.
