A special pickup for debris caused by the ice storm will continue until at least Feb. 16 for Prospect residents.

Branches should be placed at the curb, in 4 foot or shorter lengths, bundled and not more than 40 pounds.

Storm debris for Jefferson County residents can also be dropped off at the Hubbards Lane public works facility between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

For limbs too large for those two options, Louisville Metro crews will remove limbs from public right-of-ways. This clean up may take up to two months.

Prospect was one of the first areas cleaned up in September by Louisville Metro, so it will likely be one of the last this time.
