William K. Pridemore II, of Milwaukee, won the $600 First Prize in the Nathan Burkan Memorial Competition at Marquette University law school.
The winning essay is entitled “Foul Ball! Why the Digital Millennium Copyright Act Strikes Out on Fair Use.”
The competition is sponsored annually by ASCAP in memory of ASCAP’s first general counsel who died in 1936.
