Police nab driver traveling more than 100 mph on I-71

A man driving faster than 100 mph on Interstate 71 recently now faces DUI and reckless driving charges.

Oldham County Police arrested Adrian K. Montgomery on March 20 after an officer clocked his 2002 Lexus GS traveling 109 mph.

Montogmery, 33, of Louisville, told police he drank alcoholic beverages earlier in the night.

He was arrested about 5 a.m., and his blood-alcohol level registered .084.

Montgomery is charged with DUI, speeding 26 mph or more over the posted limit and reckless driving.
