POLICE: Alcohol not a factor in double-fatal I-71 crash

Police say the driver of a vehicle that crossed the median on I-71 Thanksgiving Day and struck an oncoming car had not consumed alcohol.
Two Louisville teens later died from injuries they suffered in a Nov. 25  crash on I-71 near milemarker 14.
Police said the driver, Robert P. “Patrick” Kane, 33, of Buckner, lost control of his vehicle and collided with a car carrying Adrian Hightower, 19, and Madeline Thomas, 17,  both of Louisville, who died the next day.
