FRANKFORT – The South Oldham High School boys’ tennis team continued their flair for the dramatic winning the regional tennis title May 19 by one-point over Franklin County.
After beating North Oldham in a special one match playoff to win the title last year, the Dragons won it this year thanks to a down-to-the-wire singles finals win by Jordan Pitts.
“It was not as bad as last year, but it was just as exciting that’s for sure,” SOHS coach Wood McGraw said.
The crown was the third straight team title for the Dragons and fifth in the last six years.
