Pewee residents reminded to lock up after break-in

Pewee Valley Police Chief Mike Losik has distributed an e-mail alert warning residents of a recent break-in.

Losik said burglars entered a Central Avenue home on the morning of May 19 and took several pieces of jewelry. Losik said the homeowners weren't home when the burglary took place. 

Residents are reminded to secure their homes and vehicles at all times. 

Police believe the burglars are three young white males driving a small gold car.
