Pair charged for Campbellsburg Cowboys robbery

Troopers from Kentucky State Police Post–5 charged two men with robbery Jan. 18 after the pair allegedly robbed a Cowboys BP Foodstore at knifepoint. According to police, a clerk reported a robbery at 3:38 a.m. after a white male entered the store, requested to use the restroom and later pulled out a knife and demanded money. The suspect took the money and left in a white vehicle, going towards Interstate 71.Police located a vehicle matching the clerk’s description on the interstate and arrested the two men for speeding and DUI. Jesse Brian Waller, 24, a white male from Key Largo, Fla., is charged with first-degree robbery, terroristic threatening, menacing and alcohol intoxication. Jason Butcher, 34, a white male from Grove City, Ohio, is charged with first-degree robbery, speeding, DUI and possession of open container.
