Can too much of a good thing be a bad thing?

That’s a question local fans will be forced to ask themselves next week as postseason play begins for the local high schools in multiple sports.

While the boys’ and girls’ 29th district soccer tournament will kick off play at 6 and 8 p.m. Monday at South Oldham High School, the volleyball tournament will be taking place at the exact same times, nearly 30 miles and 30 minutes away in Trimble County.

As a result, fans will be faced with an interesting dilemma come Monday.
