An Eminence man and his passenger are dead after a crash Sunday night in Henry County.
According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred at 9:35 p.m. on Ky. 146 when a vehicle traveling east on Ky. 146 left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, Jeremy Talbott, 35, of Eminence, and passenger, Amy Lynn Johnson Perkins, 32, of Sanders, died at the scene.
A KSP spokesman said neither Talbott nor Perkins was wearing a seatbelt.
Talbott is a native of Oldham County. He attended Oldham County High School and later graduated from Trimble County High School.
Preliminary investigation shows that alcohol is not suspected as a contributing factor in the crash.
Talbott is survived by his parents, Linda Staples and John W. Talbott III;and three siblings, Troy Lee Talbott, Dale Ray Staples and Amy Lynn Talbott.
Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Visitation is 12-6 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
Perkins worked as a cook and server at Waffle House in Carrollton. She is survived by her husband, Jason Perkins of Owenton; and four sons, Exavier, Justice, Elijah and Trenton Perkins of Fairfield, Ohio.
Services are 1 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the same day.
