An Oldham County Middle School teacher was recently honored by President Bush as a winner of the 2007 Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. North Oldham Middle School teacher Jennifer Terry was one of 99 teachers selected nationwide for this honor. Terry teaches algebra and geometry at the eighth-grade level.“I feel extremely honored to represent the state of Kentucky as the winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching,” Terry said of her recent honor.
